How can I EXCLUDE one column from filtering using jquery and the plugin ColumnFilters

I am using the jquery column filter plugin by Tom Coote.  it works great, but I have one issue that I can't figure out.  View the attached pic.  The last column is give the admin the ability to click on the icon and delete that specific entry.  Consequently it does not need to have the filter box that appears above the column.

Does anyone know how to exclude a column from filtering using this plugin, this removing that filtering input box?

Here is the script i use to get the filtering working:

$(document).ready(function()
            {
                  $('#example').dataTable();
                  $('#example').columnFilters();
            });

http://www.tomcoote.co.uk/jQueryColumnFilters.aspx

I think it is use the following
$(document).ready(function()
            {
                  $('#example').dataTable();
                  $('#example').columnFilters({excludeColumns:[6]});
            });
});
