Cannot remove Exchange 2003 from a server

While attempting to uninstall Microsoft Exchange from the server, I get the following error:
The component "Microsoft Exchange Messaging and Collaboration Services" cannot be assigned "Remove" because: - One or more users currently use a mailbox store on this server. These users must be moved to a different server or be mail disabled before unistalling this server

There must be a mailbox still on the server.

Check in Active Directory Users and Computers on the Exchanfe 2003 server.

Under tge View menu select tge column and add exchange server you will then easily be able to see which users are still on this server.

If you see users with no mailbox server right click on them select Exchange tasks and remve Exchabge Attributes to just double make sure thy dont have a mailbox.

Thank you so much. Since I'm not an expert just yet, I also used a link ( http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/dand/archive/2009/06/24/quot-one-or-more-users-currently-use-a-mailbox-store-on-this-server-quot-when-trying-to-uninstall-exchange.aspx )provided by gupnil.
Again Thank you. I've now been able to remove MS Exchange from the server.

The reply from demazter put me also on the right track. And I used your 2nd link on how to find those email enabled users on this server.
Thank you so much. I've now been able to remove Exchange from the server.
