Windows 7 Printers Disappear after Log Me In

I have a computer that has Windows 7  as the OS and it is accessed frequently by Log Me In.  When the user comes in to sit and use the system the next day all printers connected to the system are gone.  A simple restart brings the printers right back.  With Windows 7 relatively new does anybody have any places to begin searching for the cause of the problem?

Are you using Logmein Free or Pro2?

Probably a problem with LogMeIn, not Windows. Make sure you're running the latest versions of LogMeIn, and instead of re-starting you can probably just re-start the printing service by opening a command prompt window and typing: net start spooler

Yeah, I'm thinking along the same lines as tgerbert.  I have Win7 and Logmein and have no issues like this.  If you are running the Pro2 with remote printing support, you may want to try disabling that feature.

Correction:Go To My PC; not LogMeIn. Apologies.

    Accepted Solution

It is very likely that Go To My Pc have a way to remap printer remotely: try disable this option so it won't break your spooler.
