RSSI varies between SSIDs

What would cause the RSSI to vary on SSIDs broadcast from the same AP?  Shouldn't all SSIDs reflect the same RSSI?  I'm seeing as much as a 7db difference at times.  APs are Cisco 1252s doing a/b/g/n....I'm only focusing on the b/g (2.4GHz) RSSI.

I would expect the same SSID from the same AP would be about the same unless there are multiple radios or different bands you are seeing.

One possibility would be a difference in channel which might affect the received signal strenght. It could also be an interpretation error of the driver. Do you have the same readings on a different device?
