I need a GPS software to guide me when I am driving ( I guess it is for capturing waypoints even if I really don't know what it means). My phone includes a GPS inside. I don't know which GPS Support I don't have in my phone. It is Samsung Omnia.

Samsung Omnia has the map support built in but it looks like GPRS which will be restricted to locations within your Mobile Network Service Area.  Beware of  expensive phone or online map services, as they can run up a bill, and cost a bloke in Australia $38000 in 2 months.

You have Samsung Omnia support for Route 66 which costs about $180 AUD. This would be adequate in service areas but not always useful in the bush or mountainous terrain.  TomTom is OK but can be painful, as i have it on an HPIPAQ which has standalone GPS (Realish GPS).

The waypoints are supported by your phone and enable you to record your location and share it with others,  and termed by Samsung as Geotagging.

You also have access to Google maps if you do the phone internet thing. In some locations wireless access may be available for free town based navigation.

Nice Phone...
