Is it possible to change the DSL Protocol on a BT2700HGV Router from G.DMT2+ to G.DMT?<br />

The reason for the request is that my connection keeps dropping since the circuit was upgraded to G.DMT2+ (ADSL2+) or is their a way of fixing the problem.<br />
<br />
I would prefer to fix it instead of downgrading to G.DMT<br />
