How can I set the parameters of an application's Windows properties, such as the position and the size of Window and which of my 2 monitors the Window will open on?

How can I set the parameters of an application's Windows properties, such as the position and the size of Window and which of my 2 monitors the Window will open on?

Currently, I have to launch all of my Windows and then manually position them on my two monitor screens.

I would like to find a utility or a way that will allow me to set the parameters of an application's Windows properties, such as the position and the size of Window and which of my 2 monitors the Window will open on.

knowledgeable,

How are you doing?

I have been using ultramon for 4 or 5 years, it is an outstanding program. It allows you to have different backgrounds on each monitor, stretch images across both monitors (or many, if you are lucky enough to have 3, 4, etc), remember where apps are. This is a great feature because I will end the day with say a web browser on screen 2 and Word on screen 1. By closing it on screen two, it can remember to launch it there next time.

The program is very easy to use and once you set it, that's it. It just runs in the taskbar and I really only ever open it to mess around (if i'm bored or something) but the rest of the time "it just works"!

Hope this helps,

I'm with redrumkey-   It is very easy to use and provides a lot of flexibility.    We have several mobile users that use this with their laptops and larger monitors in the office.    Seamless and unobtrusive.
