Sound file is corrupt
Hello,
I have a WAV audio file recorded with Sound Forge 4.5 (I know, old) that doesn't open in any media player, Sound Forge, or Audacity. I don't believe it ever opened properly, but I thought I should ask if anyone could suggest any techniques for repairing this file.
Thanks much for your time!

Hmm.. I might suggest using a WAV repairing software. Google "WAV Saver" but before you attempt to repair it make a backup of the original WAV file. Other than that I wouldn't know... Good Luck
You should try free sound converter and convert the WAV file into a format the will play. Also make sure you have all the correct Audio Codecs installed; even though the WAV file is a .WAV it might easily have been a .raw or .mp3 or .ogg or anything else, i.e. the extension is incorrect. You may also upload your file so that we may try to repair it.
