adobe contribute ftp transfer problems from behind watchguard firewall

Hello,
I am having a problem with adobe contribute CS3 ftp transfer.    Behind the watchguard firewall it is not working.   Going to the same site with filezilla on the same pc is ok, so it is something contribute is doing.  It is set to passive ftp transfer.
I made a vpn connection and routed my gateway to a SOHO router from the same pc and was able to connect ok, so I know it is something on the router.

This thread had some info but the pertinent watchguard thread was deleted.

Any ideas?  Netstat or other tools to see what contribute is trying to do?  I have FTP open on the watchguard router.
Thanks,
Berne

What is the easiest way to check what port contribute is using.  It just says FTP (which is port 21...open on the watchguard).   I tried SFTP on 22 but same difference.   There must be some other ports it is using

I ended up turning antivirus and intrusion detection off for FTP only on the watchguard and it worked ok.   Couldn't tune IPS and AV in this version of the watchguard or I would.  Turning off those security features isn't the greatest but it's a fix.
I'll accept both solutions above as good faith thanks for the help, though turning off IPS and AV was my fix.

Thanks.
I guess the Firewall thought Contribute was an attack program.  Ha!
