whether the deleted files are copied when cloning disk

Whether the deleted files are copied from old disk when cloning disk to new disk.I'm using Acronis True Image Home 'Disk Clone' utility.

Most cloning software have an option to perform a "raw" copy. That mode copies the data sector by sector, copying everything, including deleted files. Look for that option in the settings.

However that options are advanced options, not the default ones. So if you are trying to recover deleted files from a cloned image the most probable is that there is nothing to find there.

I don't know for certain, but I suspect deleted files would only be included in the clone if you use the "sector-by-sector" ("raw") cloning method.
