flash links from an ad server

We recently supplied a flash banner to a client for advertising on a third parties website. When we distributed the banner it worked fine except for one website where the link wouldn't work. When we investigated the problem it came to light that the problem was the advertiser pulling the banner from their own ad server into their own web server which blocked permissions. I'd like to make my banners fool proof, is there a way I can do that in flash?

This is the code I'm currently using is as below. It's triggered by a button on the stage

_root.forward.onPress = function() {
      getURL("http://bit.ly/8G2Bod", "_self");}

are you saying that the banner appeared, but the clicking the forward button didn't redirect, or that the banner didn't appear at all?

There's nothing you can do in Flash to bypass that behavior.  If it's being blocked by the server, look there.
