Hello

I have installed ESET Smart Security 4 Business Edition on a 2008 server.  When I have the firewall on it does not allow users to log onto the domain.  However if I disable the firewall then everything works fine?

Please can you advise on what settings I should use ?

Thanks very much.

The firewall is blocking network communication requests to the Windows 2008 server.  This is why the users can't logon.

You need to either remove the firewall software from the server or create firewall rules to allow authenticating on the domain but not allow other traffic.
