Screen Flicker/Blackout on Dell R5400 with DMS 59 connector to Dell Fx100 and dual 23" Monitors
I have a Dell E5400 workstation with basic NVIDIA Quadro® NVS 290, this is connected to my network and Dell Fx100(pcoip device) then connected to Dual 23" monitors. The problem is that the screens will flicker sometimes for long periods, 3 seconds maybe, randomly. I have tried direct connecting and Remote desktop etc works fine, so the issue is with either the network, the Fx100 or the cabling or something, I cant set refresh rate past 60Hz either.
This problem is annoying and any help is appreciated!

Does it happen on both monitors at the same time? Also, does it happen if you only use one monitor?
Did you try updating the graphics card drivers?
Maybe the card is bad, you could try a benchmark like FurMark (http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/) to see if it happens under load, but take care, if your card is not properly cooled this could overheat it. Declining all responsibility.

I agree, very odd. Hope they can reproduce it.

It is unclear what the soution is. Did you pin point the source of the problem? I have the same issue here Dell E5400 workstation only one 19 inch display per FX100. All FX100 exhibit the same behavior.
