In MS Access 2003, I need to find the Max date on Invoices for each client and the Seller's name.

In MS Access 2003, I need to find the most current date (MAX?) of an invoice for each client and the seller's name.  the end results need to have
CLIENT, Last Invoice, SELLER in the output.

If necessary, I can forgo  having the SELLER name.

    what are the tables involved and their structures? post a sample data from each table and expected result...

    try this:

    select client, seller, max(inv_date) as max_inv_date
    from invoice
    group by client, seller

    BLESS YOU!  Although this gives me more than one last invoice if there is more than one seller per client, this is a useful answer.
