Configure WPF DatePicker to allow only mondays to be selected

What would be the best way to ensure that only Mondays can be selected in the WPF Date Picker. The two options I was wondering was to derive a new control or to do a lot of crazy Blackout dates.  I would love to have a better approach that shows all the days but only allows the Monday's to be selected.

    above says
"The Calendar and DatePicker controls let one specify dates that are not considered acceptable dates for selection according to business rules"
    or try editing datepicker control

Black out dates are a common solution but in-appropriate to the question asked. The resulting article provides a good overview but does not directly answer the question asked.

In the end, it was easier to derive a new class that allows only Mondays to be selected.
