Usually you will get that if there is a group policy in place or you don't have rights to change.
Is this on a partiular workstation? what setting is greyed out? Are you using PN agent?

I'm logging in as a domain admin.  All of the buttons in the utility are greyed out.  We are not using PN agent.

can you post a screen shot? What are you trying to change?

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Just trying to add a new printer.  Can only do connect/disconnect for existing printers.  This is my first week working here, but coworkers said that this behavior just started recently.

Havn't seen that console in a long time.
Auto created printer
If you are trying to add a printer that will be auto created into the users session (one user) install the printer on the workstation.

If you want a printer that will follow the user in their Citrix session but not on a workstation, use standard printer addition process like on a workstation.

If you are trying to create a printer for all users of the server, Install the printer on the server.

Thanks.  What about for a thin client?

you can add the printers to the users Citrix profile (add printer while in Citix) or use Citrix policies to assisgn session based printers.
