Sending Email when not logged into Outlook
Posted on 2010-01-07
I thought I would throw this question out to the community and see if by chance there is a way to do this.
When logging into a server for support, I sometimes will right click and use sendto on a file to email it to someone.
-Outlook is not open.
-Outlook is talking to an exchange server.
-Email account is Administrator, and that is how I am logged into the server.
-To have a copy of the email, I do want the email processed through this Administrator Outlook account
The issue is the email does not send unless I open Outlook . I don't want to open Outlook everytime I log in since it takes a few seconds to start and I am in and out all day long. I don't always remember to open outlook if I have something to send.
So I was wondering, is there a way to tell Outlook to do the send without opening Outlook. I guess I am asking if there is maybe a send service (using the login credientials) that can be started that will allow the send to complete without opening Outlook?
I am thinking this is the way it works by design, but was hoping someone might have a work around.
