Hi brothers
I have a network with 2 dcs serverA and serverB
I formatted serverB without removing it from the domain
now I wish to remove the serverA (running sbs 2003)
and the dcpromo show an error of (unable to contact the other domain controllet)
so is there any manual procedure?

also is there two editions of sbs 2003 ? basic and premium?

    Your needed KB article:
ntdsutil used to clean things up.

Make sure DNS, DSSite.msc, and ADUC are all clear of the old DC.
