Issue deploying WCF service to Web Hosting site

Hi there

I created a WCF service to enable my silverlight application to communicate with SQL Server. Everything works fine on dev machine but when I upload the service to my hosted website (fasthosts.co.uk) i get the following error when trying to reference.

www.domain.com/subdomain/xxxxx.svc

The type 'XXXXXXX',provided as the Service attribute value in the ServiceHost directive could not be found

any ideas??

Many thanks

Check:
http://www.thejoyofcode.com/WCF_The_type_provided_as_the_Service_attribute_could_not_be_found.aspx

Also if you are using IIS 7.0 check here:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/720807/wcf-service-attribute-value-in-the-servicehost-directive-could-not-be-found

let me know your host OS/IIS version/how do create app or virtual folder for your wcf service

I am deploying the WCF service to a sub domain to my hosted website. I am deploying the code via FTP.

Unfortunately you need to have access or have your web provider follow the steps on  the link.
I will check with them, that they have the latest .net 3.5 SP1 installed on the server and asp.net is properly setup and what is the setup of your virtual directory to see if you have all the appropiate settings.
Then I will check my config file. Here are some links on how your WCF needs to be configured in IIS:
