IPSEC encrypted GRE tunnneling between Cisco and non-Cisco

Has anyone developed a persistent GRE over IPSEC tunnel between Cisco IOS and a linux box?  I have done it with Cisco router to router but now I have to do it between the router and a linux server.   Anyone have any sample configs of doing this?
