Google Chrome table formatting

I am trying to fix a table at http://www.humanityalive.org/tempindex.php
It is login table in left menu.
It appears fine in firefox & IE but when I see it in chrome its right side border moves in to white background, I mean it is not centered & containing within grey background of left menu.
can you help?
Thanks
<table style="border:1px solid #3366FF; font-size: 8pt; margin: -15; padding-left:4px; padding-right:4px; padding-top:1px; padding-bottom:1px">
	<tr>
		<td>
		<p style="text-align: justify">Log in to your account so you can participate in various activities conducted by the worldwide community of Lifetime Associate Members of Humanity Alive Foundation.
<br>		<br>

            </p>

            <form name="login" action="activity/login.php" method="POST" style="font-size: 9pt; text-align: left;  text-indent: 0; float: left; margin: 1">

                      <input type="hidden" name="action" value="login">
                    Email :&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <input type="text" name="email" size="24" value="">

The table has invalid css in the style attribute "margin: -15;" 15 what? It should be '15px'. Fix the obvious errors first. Once again in the form tag, "margin: 1;", 1 what?

actually I need to put -15 to make it appear correctly in IE, Firefox, though it was trial & error by me but it is working. If I make it 15px it will not be properly aligned even in IE & firefox.

FIRST reset the css:

For example using YUI reset:

What happens when you add a doctype? Looks like 4.1 transitional might apply: -

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
   "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">

I'm viewing the page in IE8 and FF3.5 and they're wildly different. I don't have crome so can't test.

THEN use CSS everywhere and no need for a table

<form name="login" action="activity/login.php" method="POST">
<input type="hidden" name="action" value="login">
<div style="border:1px solid #3366FF; font-size: 8pt; padding: 1px 4px 1px 4px;">
<p style="text-align: justify">Log in to your account so you can participate in various activities conducted by the worldwide community of Lifetime Associate Members of Humanity Alive Foundation.</p>
Email :<br />
<input type="text" name="email" value="" style="width:200px"><br />
Password:<br />
<input type="password" name="pwd" value="" style="width:200px">
<br>
<input class="form1" type="submit" name="Submit" value="Login"> <br>
Not yet a Member? <a href="http://www.humanityalive.org/activity/signup1.php">Signup</a>!<br /> <br />
</div>
</form>
