Change from POP3 Connector to SMTP for SBS2008 - Exchange 2007
On a SBS2008, we want to change from POP3 connector to SMTP mail reception.
We have opened port 25 on the firewall to be forwarded to the SBS2008 box, but there is no response to a telnet from the outside.
On SBS2003 that worked without doing anything, is there something to do on the SBS2008 in Exchange maybe ?

Thanks.
I just get a timeout error.
I've double check the forward and enabled loggin on the router and I cannot see my external telnet request coming in.
So I'm going to check if my ISP has this blocked, I haven't requested the MX record change and they may have a firewall policy to block port 25...

Double check you have forwarded port 25 from your router/firewall to the internal IP address of your exchange server.
