Clitrix Web access on a mac

When i open up my secure citrix website on my mac OSX10.6.2, i click an icon to launch it and nothing happens...Any ideas?

I just tested this on my MAC OS X 10.6.2 with PS4.5, WI 4.6 and CSG 3.1.0 with the full MAC online client 11.0 and had no problem running a published desktop or published app.

Are you sure the client is actually installed?  Does it show up in the Applications folder?  Why don't you download and try the online web plug-in version?

Take a look at your logs on you XenApp boxes, are there any stop or warning errors?

Does your published application work when run from a Windows client?

Rather than just the Citrix on-line plgin, have you tried to enable the Java plugin-n?

Give this a try and see if it works.

You will need to configure the WI management to deploy the Java client.  See my screenshots

i dont think i need to do this, i have seen other macs access this without a problem, i believe the issue lies with the mac.

I understand that.  What I am trying to give you is an alternate solution to the On-line plugin.  The possibility exists that it is broken on your Mac.

Have you tried removing and re-installing the client?

i am not 100% mac savvy, i deleted it out of the application folder, anywhere else i should be looking?

No, nice thing about Macs, when you drag an app from the application folder to the trash can, the app is gone from the computer.  I would reinstall the online plugin web version, not the full plugin that includes Dazzle.

The Citrix On-line plugin is NOT a drag and drop installation for OS X.

Since you say you are not Mac savy, are you positive you actually installed the plug-in on your Mac?  Once you download the plug-in you have to double-click it to start the installer and then double-click the picture within the installer and then go thru the install steps.

Take a look in your system preferences, do you have this as shown in the screenshot?  if you do not, have the Online plugin installed.

yes i have it there, i see the list of my available apps, my problem is that when i click on an icon to launch the app nothign happens, if i didnt have the online plug in then i wouldnt see the published apps themseleves...

Even with no client software installed, you will still see the list of published apps.  You just couldn't do anything with them (like the issue you are having).

i reinstalled the OS and got it work with the ICA client, but the odd thing is, every time i select an app to launch in the downloads section i get prompted to "launch-1.ica, i have to go into downloads and select it then the my app opens, is this the behavior?

I have the same issue, but I don't think a reinstall of the OS is the solution. Could you please advise if is there another way of fixing this?
