dreamweaver 4 adding TR tag automatically!
Dreamweaver is constantly adding a <tr > tag to my code whenever I make changes elsewhere. Its like is is trying to autocorrect my code or something because it is confsed about why my tables are nested in output queries. How can I stop this from happening?

4 or cs4, it should be roughly the same option on the menu. I'll assume trim your comments that you tried it and it still doesn't work. I'm sitting in airport posting from an iPod so I'll have to post the exact steps later when I get home
and you are welcome. This stuff is kind of fun to do. Beats watching tv at least.

Thanks. Just get back to me when you can.
Try Edit | Preferences | Code Rewriting and uncheck "Fix invalidly nested and unclosed tags"

It's the latter. DW is attempting to correct what it thinks is invalid code if the query output contains structure for a table.
If you go to Edit | Preferences | Code Rewriting and poke around there you should be able to disable code writing in the specific document extension.
I wish I could get more specific but DW4 is ooooooold software at this point and I don't have my reference manuals anymore.
