Hyper-V Manager says Connecting to Virtual Machine Management service...

Over the last 2 weeks, i've noticed that my hyper-v manager is acting weird.

Its running on a Windows 2008 Core.

I start the Hyper-V Manager and it just says "Connecting to Virtual Machine Management Service..."
I tried to run Powershell and it just hung when i type get-VMHOST.

All the VM's are up and running but I can't do anything to see it.

The certifcate is good until 2/11/2010 so its not that.

I tried using SCVMM but it just says HOST not Responding.

Anyone else have this issue.

Maybe the virtual machine management service is hung or stopped?  Check the service and try restarting it...
