Need to Store data from a calculated field into a table

Have a date field in a form, that is calculated in a query in the form.   However, not saving in the table.   How is this accomplished.  The date field looks at a check box... if the box is checked, it adds 45 days to another field and enters this date in the form.  shows and works perfectly in the form..... is not updating the table.  therefore, when I run a report based on that date.... does not show.  your assistance will be most appreciated on this.   Need to fix asap!

<therefore, when I run a report based on that date... does not show.>

did you try using your query as the record source of your report?

what is in the Control Source of the control in the form with the 45 days added?

if none, use the field on the table as the control source.

how is the date computed?

Control source is :"Zero Income Expiration Date"
Date is computed as follows: Zero Income Expiration Date: IIf([Zero Income]=Yes,DateAdd("d",45,[Date Application Determined]),"")

it is not a common practice and not advisable to save calculated fields to the table.

a date can never be a string:

This:

Zero Income Expiration Date: IIf([Zero Income]=Yes,DateAdd("d",45,[Date Application Determined]),"")

must be this:

Zero Income Expiration Date: IIf([Zero Income]=Yes,DateAdd("d",45,[Date Application Determined]),null)

or:

Zero Income Expiration Date: IIf([Zero Income]=Yes,DateAdd("d",45,[Date Application Determined]),0)

I understand now that it is not advisable to save calculated fields to a table... but what can i do about it now?   I changed the string to "Zero Income Expiration Date: IIf([Zero Income]=Yes,DateAdd("d",45,[Date Application Determined]),null)"  to no avail.   Saves information in the form but unable to access in a report.   Please help!
