I don't understand if you're wanting format and reinstall Windows, or boot the current copy of Windows that's on it.<br />
If you're trying to boot it without the password, use a password editor, like the one found on UBCD <a href="http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/" rel="ugc">www.ultimatebootcd.com/</a><br />
If you're trying to reinstall Windows, just boot off a Windows CD. &nbsp;There's no need to boot off the harddrive first.

I'm working on a Toshiba Satellite 2400 s251. I would like to format &amp;&nbsp;start from new. It was an old work laptop that she bought when they upgraded the pc's. She let it sit &amp;&nbsp;now wants to use it for email. She doesn't have the password. I tried safe mode, not. It's trying to logon to the work domain in either mode. Can I do it as a slave on another pc? &nbsp;Thanks
