I work at a small company that uses a sonicwall firewall. I was able to connect to steam and play modern warfare 2 online, but I could not get in a lobby with a friend. It always says NAT status: Strict in the game.
We have several WAN IP's and I've setup several different rules trying to get this to work. I looked up the ports for steam and modern warfare 2, and these are the ones I found:
Infinity Ward has a page (http://www.infinityward.com/nat
) that is supposed to help with this, but all it says is to enable upnp which sonicwall and business firewalls do not support.
Any ideas on how to configure the rules for the sonicwall to allow traffic to a set of pcs for steam and mw2?
