Dual NIC Vista and VMware WS pt II

I have a vista 64 running Vmware workstation 7.  The computer has two NICs - one connected to a cable modem and one connected to a DSL modem.  I would like to configure the computer so that the host OS uses the cable modem and the VM machine uses DSL.

Currently, the host os is using the correct NIC, however, I cannot get the vm machine to use the DSL.  No matter waht I do it always picks up the Cable connection.

Here is a list of network adapters in the host (Vista) OS:

Cable
DSL
VMware Network Adapter vment1
Vmware Network Adapter vmnet8

Here is a list of newtowk adpaters under Virtual Network Adapter:

Vmnet0  -   Bridged  - Auto Bridging
VMnet1  -   Host - Host Only
Vmnet8  -  NAT - NAT

VMnet1 and VMnet8 are connected and enabled

How do i need to configure these connections so that the virtual machine uses the DSL connection?   I assume I need to specify on of the connections to bridge to the appropriate network adapter, but which one do i select?

Thanks!
