I'm trying to setup an online entry for a photography competition in Joomla where people are only permitted to upload the amount of images they pay for to our gallery as their submissions. I haven't setup a gallery yet of any kind and was wondering what would work best for this purpose. We have no preferences yet and are currently using JomSocial if that helps. I'm looking for suggestions and solutions to manage the entire process from registration to submission, any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello,

You could devellop a plugin to jomsocial that manages upload limit for each user according to their subscription.

Some plugins for jomsocial allows you to manage subscriptions, maybe you could use one this plugins and create a field in jomsocial that contains upload limit according to subscription. You still have to devellop a plugin that manages uploads limit.

I hope it helps

Actually a couple of days ago I found that jSubscription through iJoobi does exactly what I would need it to attached to JomSocial, including the checkout and subscription process and the all important user upload limit. Another solution for subscriptions could be found at Codingmall.com

But you included a link to where they list jSubscription, so I'll choose your solution.

The link discusses subscriptions, further investigation would reveal that jSubscription from iJoobi is the component of choice for this application. iJoobi's support team is also very helpful and easy to work with.
