I have set up a folder for roaming profiles and then applied the following GPO: Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\System\User Profiles\Add the Administrators security group to roaming user profiles in server 2008.  However the administrator account still cannot access the roaming profiles folder.

I Initially gave the administrator full control over the folder and this did not give access to the roaming profiles folder.  I then applied the GPO as above and then this did not work.  If I create a new user the profile is created but I cannot access it.

Please advise further ....cheers.

I have tried the above, however roaming profiles do not seem to be working at all.  When the user logs in no folder is created in the profiles folder.

I have set the profile as //servername/userprofiles/username

please advise further ..I am not getting any message either when I log in as a user ?
