Sharepoint Surveys expiry date

I am using Sharepoint 2007. I've created a survey and I want to have the following:
1-Specify Expiry date for my Survey so no one is able to response.

A few options:

If you are just using Surveys to run polls, you can use this webpart from bamboo to run polls (it has an expiry date)

If you need it on surveys you will ned some custom code to do that, which is called a custom timer jobs which will check the survey every x time and if it is past the expiry date it will change the rights on it.
