I'm trying to deploy Office 2007 via SMS 2003 using a setup.exe and the Office Customization file. I'm getting the error below.

An error occurred while preparing to run the program for advertisement "0012006E" ("00100046" - "Microsoft Office 2007, English Silent Installation"). The operating system reported error -2147024891: Access is denied. Additional program properties: Command line: \\server\c$\SMSPackage\Office2007\Enterprise\setup.exe Working directory: Drive letter (? = any): Possible cause: This message most commonly occurs when the programs command-line executable file could not be found, when a required drive letter connection to a distribution point could not be established, or when the program is configured to use the SMS Software Installation Account but the account is not specified, could not be found, or does not have the appropriate permissions. Solution: Check each of the items listed above. This program will be retried.

Highlight you package in the SMS Site server console, the choose update Distribution Points.  You may not have the package content pushed out to all of your DP's.

Also, have you been successful in deploying any other software via SMS?  or is this your first try?

"\\server\c$\SMSPackage\Office2007\Enterprise\setup.exe "  This path looks odd... for a distribution point...  The clients, typically should not access the software via an admin $ share...  you would have to give all the clients admin access to the server in order to do this...

Instead you should define a Distribution Point in SMS.

Here is how to setup a distribution point:  http://www.myitforum.com/articles/8/view.asp?id=10054

\server\c$\SMSPackage\Office2007\Enterprise\setup.exe is the source directory on the pacakge. I have created the distribution points and I've checked on the SMS server and the package files have been coped up to the SMSPKGD$ distribution point so they exist in the there.

I've deployed lots of other packages before and a couple after this one and this is the only one I'm having issues with

I've used this guide to create the office 2007 package using the cusomization file

If you right clikc the Pacakge and go to properties what do you have for the DATA SOURCE tab... does it look similar to this?

Can you check your package status... to see if the package has been distributed properly?
