Offhost Backup using backup exec and Lefthand

Hello,

We are taking snapshots of generic data (3TB) ,and what I want to do is do monthly backup of those snapshots and save it to tapes, and inmediately release the LUN where the snapshots are located.I think this solution is call offhost. My question is first of all.How do I present this LUN to backup exec,I do not see it when I try to create a Backup-to-Disk drive.

Thanks
