Hi,

I was hoping someone could let me know if it possible to migrate Exchange 5.5 and Groupwise directly into Microsoft Online (BPOS) or whether they had to be migrated to another Exchange platform first?

All help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Hi Shahvikas,

The Quest solutions would definitely work and would be my preferred method BUT.
They don't like the cost of the Quest software and licenses so were hoping for some cheap or preferably free way of completing the migration.
I was hoping that the Exchange Online Tools would enable me to migrate into BPOS but I haven't been able to find anything to support this.
I know I can migrate from Exchange 2000 and upwards using this toolkit but will it allow me to migrate Exchange 5.5 or other systems such as Groupwise.

Cheers

Shahvikas,

That was great, the first solution would enable me to migrate from Groupwise to Exchange as my boss wants.
Hopefully I can find something that will enable me to complete it in 1 step rather than a 2 step migration via 2003.
I'm betting that the only way to do that is by using Quest or similar.
