How can I keep OTRS from displaying disabled accounts from Active Directory?

I have recently built an OTRS server.  We have it setup to handle user accounts and authentication thru LDAP.  When i log in as admin and look through the list of otrs users, the user list as well as the email list is displaying accounts that are disabled in Active Directory.  Short of deleting the accounts from AD completely (which will not happen), how can I keep OTRS from displaying these disabled AD accounts as users and email addresses?

How about giving all your active users a special role thank define in OTRS the group of active users with that special role?

You have to add this to your Config.pm file:

# We only need to see users. Not computers and no disabled users.
    $Self->{'Customer::AuthModule::LDAP::AlwaysFilter'} = '(&(!(objectClass=Computer))(!(userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=2)))';
