Hi, I have a macbook (not pro) and I am looking for software that can use the mac's current brightness control buttons and allow me to set the brightness of my screen with more accuracy.  I have seen two programs, one called "Brightness Control" and one called "BrightnessSync", Brightness control could not use the mac's keyboard controls, and BrightnessSync was incompatible.

Any suggestions?

What's wrong with your display prefs?

There is nothing wrong with the mac prefs, but I would like more accuracy to control the brightness setting.  As an example, the program "Brightness Control" exhibits the kind of control I would like, but does not integrate with the prefs pane: http://www.splasm.com/products/productbrightness.html

brightness control worked for me as an app, what issues are you having with it?

I am not having a problem with it, but I was wondering if there was an app that could do what it does in the background utilizing the keyboard brightness controls
