Cisco - Restore factory defaultS for router
I am trying to help somebody with a router for home use. It was set up incorrectly in the first place and I don't have a username and password. How would I set it back to factory defaults?

There are a lot of ways to reset router ( Linksys Router WRT54G2 ) and the easiest way is :
Look at behind the router ( you will see reset button ) , press it until the router reset .
For more details you can use this link :

and choose router model and instal ( user Guide = Pdf file )
it contains all information that you want from A to Z

Thank you. I followed the link and that is what I needed.
factory defaults. Either press and hold the Reset
Button for approximately five seconds, or restore
the defaults from Administration > Factory
Defaults in the Routers web-based utility.
