What is the best way to create images and integrate the SCCM client

We are creating images of Windows 7 to deploy via SCCM.  What is the best way to deploy the client so that new computers get the client quickly so that it can begin communicating with the SCCM server and installing packages?

Hi

It is best practice to include the SCCM client installation in your Task Sequence. When the client is installed you can continue to add addtional steps in your Task Sequence and install the packages you want after Win7 is finished.

This way you don't have to wait for additional advertisement after the completion of the TS.

Thanks guys.. and quick "duh" question.  I have to be on SP1 or R2 in order to communicate and administer Win7 machines, correct?
