How to configure a SHDSL connection

Hi,

We have a cisco 877-M and we have ordered an extreme 20 Meg SHDSL connection for the site.

Firstly, do we need to order a g.shdsl wic card for this and if so, will the 877-M support it?

Secondly, how is SHDL configured? At the moment we have PPOE for ADSL. Is there much of a difference?

Hello,

You cannot change a card on a cisco 877-M router,
On your router you should have a Wan interface for ADSL over POTS

According to cisco website, it looks like only Cisco 878 supports SHDSL signaling

Here you can find all the details of 870 series :
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps380/ps6200/product_data_sheet0900aecd8028a976.html

And here you can find all the details to configure DSL and SHDSL :

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/800/850/software/configuration/guide/pppoanat.html#wp1227893

Hope it helps

Best regards
