Failure to Authenticate to LDAP through SonicWall NSA 3500

So we recently got a new part time client who had an ISA server.  We replaced the ISA server for a SonicWall NSA 3500.  They were using a Nortel Extranet Switch (1000) as a VPN connectivity device.

Anyways, to make a long story short, I created the VPN to authenticated to LDAP, using the Users OU.

I can create a new user, and they can authenticate just fine.  Existing users cannot, the SonicWall says that it can't Authenticate to LDAP when performing a test on the SonicWall.  So, i'm at a loss for what to do.  All users new and old are in the same OU, groups are different...one is just a domain user another is a  domain admin.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  My mind is toast right now.
