Preview Pane Headers Default Has Changed/Malfunctioned

I have Windows 7 and installed what turned out to be an incompatible program.  It caused a "low memory" warning and all of my open windows began to crash.  Outlook was one of them.  When I rebooted, I noticed my preview pane was working, however the summary of headers no longer featured the "from" and "subject" fields on top of the other.  Basically, these fields look the way they should if the reading pane is turned off.  I have tested my pst file on another computer and do not have this problem, which leads me to believe that it is in the program itself.  I have done my best to attempt a clean re-installation of Outlook, which also has not worked.  Any suggestions?

Hi kc0001,

Try resizing the various panes (making wider & narrower)

I can resize but it does not solve the problem of how the summary area originally looked with "from" over the "subject" for each message.  Please see the screenshot from a computer that is working properly.

Wow.  That one went right over my head.  That's what I get for having a huge monitor.  Thank you.
