Problem with Outlook 2007. Using POP3 to send/recieve e-mail. Regular mail works fine, sending out appointment notices is working too, but when someone sends me an appointment request, the response sent by me, gets stuck in outbox.
Everything else works, just the response mail gets stuck. Manually send/recieving successfully completes, as the program says, but response stays in outbox.
Occasionally Im getting error 0x800CCC13, but there is no problem with network.

Here's what I've tried so far:
*Outlook repair
*New profile(helped a bit, because before that I could not send out an appointment notice at all)
*changed outgoing mailserver
*checked all the settings(account and program)

You should have Oulook make a new .pst file but because you use the POP protocol all your emails are in that file and not on the server (IMAP is much better in this aspect).
Export all emails to another .pst file and then scratch the account and make a new (not the same as a new profile).

Tried with a brand new pst and mailprofile. No success, unfortunately. Appointment acceptance mail does not go out from outbox.
Also tried to change email password and have created new account several times.

Ok, lets check the appointment response email address, is it a legal address or is it maybe corrupt? Double-click on the response in the outbox, examine the email address and other properties in the email for anomalies.

Email addresses are OK, I have tried many different ones.To people with same domain address and other domains as well.
The real mystery is that regular mail goes in and out with no problems, just the response mail to someones appointment...

I meant to check the *actual* address in the response, not assuming it's ok. Please follow my previous post and then answer this: What happens when you click Send?

The actual address that the response is sent to, is correct. Checked it and regular mail gets to that address with no problems.
When I click accept to the appointment mail,it asks me to confirm the sending of response and then it stays in outbox.
When I click send/recieve I get an error 0x800CCC13.

If You mean replying to the appointment, then after clicking accept or other response buttons, mail appears in outbox and just stays there.
Creating a new email and sending it works well, after clicking send, the mail goes into outbox and after few seconds it goes out.
I´m afraid, im not following You very well on that question.Explain to me what should happen or what result there should be.

Ok, try this: Double-click on the response in the outbox, select Forward and add a legitimate email address whose mailbox you can check. Click Send. Is it delivered?

Appointment forwarding does not work. Stays in outbox.

I tested with a regular email, both reply and forward worked fine.

So there is something in that appointment mail, thats causing this..
Side note: the meeting request format, that sets it in icalendar format, is unticked in the options.

The antivirus on that machine is NOD32 and we have tried disabling it as well.

You "tried" disabling it? So it's could be the culprit until you successfully disable it and test. What about shutting down the AV service?

When the AV software was not active or working in any way, the problem still remained.

Hi,

I am having the identical problem, except with Outlook 2010. Since in your case it seems that disabling the AV software did not solve the problem, can you say what did?

Thanks

Hi,

I am also having the same issue. Did any one find any fix for it?

Thanks
