How old are the tapes?  Have you tried a cleaning media yet?

This happens on all tapes, since they came from the manufacturs.<br />
Tape drive is brand new<br />
And yes, we have run the cleaning tape through.<br />

One of our servers keeps giving us an alert saying &quot;Please remove the media from the drive, and Respond OK&quot;. <br />
<br />
The job itself is set to eject the media from the drive once complete<br />
<br />
The alert has been set to automatically clear after 1 hour, and to respond with 'yes'. I have also tried 'No' and 'cancel'.<br />
<br />
Although its not too much of an issue, cause we just remote onto the Server, and click ok, which then ejects the media, it is a real pain, as is the only server we have to do it on.<br />
<br />
Any ideas why, and more importantly how to get it to automatically eject after the job completes?<br />

The job itself is set to eject the media from the drive once complete

The alert has been set to automatically clear after 1 hour, and to respond with 'yes'. I have also tried 'No' and 'cancel'.

Media Remove

The term "Backup" means the methods and processes involved to copy computer data (system data as well as application data) to media other than the ones where the data originally live (disk, tape, optical, cloud).
