Dear Experts,
I made one small module called scrap like orkut scrap.
now i want to do if i loged as a a and some one loged as b from different com an mr.A sending a scrap to mr.B in that cases one popup should appear on B comp saying mr a send you a scrap.

Please tell me how its possible.

Hi

My suggestion:
Step :1 Mail send itself store in DataBase Table "ScrapInfo" with From , To ,MessageInfo, Statues, LastLogindate  and  EmailsendDate
Step :2 : While "To" User Login ,Check in the "ScrapInfo" Table based on the (EmailsendDate > LastLogindate)   and Status as "Not View" store this information in the Data Table / Data set
Step 3: Create one Popup Control , Bind in the web Page, IF Dataset Having the Value popup in the Page
Step 4 : Update in the "ScrapInfo" table LastLogindate
