Some AD Accounts are missing

I came into work this morning and found that some AD accounts are missing. I checked the Logs and there is no reference to any account been deleted.

Would some one be able to share some light on this please.

Have the accounts been moved?
Are these user accounts, admin accounts, service accounts?

Search for the account from the command line;

dsquery user cn=username, cn=users, dc=domain, dc=com

Seems the account have been deleted. The user accounts that have been deleted are all admin accounts. I was able to recreate them in AD and reattach whatever mailboxes that were needed

You may want to protect the new accounts from accidental deletion.

dsacls cn=username, cn=users, dc=domain, dc=com /d EVERYONE:SDDT
