Hi,

I am trying to create an email signature in Outlook where there is a graphic washed out behind the text of an email signature. I have coded the HTML in Dreamweaver which works fine when previewing in the browser but Outlook will not display the image.

I have set the image to no repeat and locked at the bottom of the page which is perfect as it displays behind the signature.

How can I get this code to work in Outlook? I am currently importing it as a signature but no image shows up?

Many Thanks!
<style type="text/css">
<!--
.style2 {
	font-family: "Comic Sans MS";
	color: #0000FF;
	font-size: 14px;
}
body {
	background-image: url(http://www.example.co.uk/emailsignature/image1.jpg);
	background-repeat: no-repeat;
	background-position: left bottom
}

-->
</style>
<table width="100%" border="0">
  <tr>
    <td>&nbsp;</td>
  </tr>
</table>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="style2"><strong>Dean Parker</strong><br>
  Admin</span></p>

Ok sorry for the delay had to find something I could use with 2003....ok after doing some research I can see your problem and everything I see advises against background images because some things strip them out and display them funny and this and that...aggravating...anyways the sig I use does have an image in it but its not the background image....would you like me to help you get something else working?  Because I don't think its going to work like you had hoped.

Hi,

It seems like its not going to work from my research as well. Looks like we'll work with a standard image.

Thanks for your help!
