Outlook 2007 not receiving resource booking confrimations

I'm running Outlook 2007 SP2 (12.0.6514.5000) against an Exchange 2003 server.

I have found that meeting requests sent to resources are not auto-replying with the "This resource has been booked successfully" or any response at all. The resource calendar in question is set up to auto-reply to calendar requests.

It appears that Oultook2003 clients do not have this issue with the same resources.

Any thoughts on why this might be happening?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

No luck dj.

I'm running Oultook2007 against Exchange2003.

This issue occurs if one the following is true:
  • The resource mailbox is on a server that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.
  •         The resource mailbox is not configured to automatically accept meeting requests.
I am running Exchange 2003.

The mailbox is configured to automatically accept meeting requests.

Meeting requests are confirmed if I use Outlook2003.

Thanks,
JJJ
