Cannot Create Maintenance Plan - SQL Server 2005
Hi All,
I'm a little stuck with SQL 2005.
I have installed it on our server, and separately downloaded SQL Server Management Studio Express.
When I right-click on Maintenance Plans, I only get the 'Refresh' option.
I believe I'm using the full version of SQL 2005 as I downloaded it from our Volume Licence Site at Microsoft.
If anyone can help me, it'd be much appreciated. I have attached a couple of images to show what's installed / running as services.
Many Thanks,
Pete

ASKER
So what would you suggest I do?
go for the SQL Server standard edition or use the third party tools

Thanks for your replies. Is there anything Microsoft has to offer? Or have the maintenance plan sections been removed?
not really, one option is to schedule it using the windows scheduler
