We have a Moss 2007 SP2 intranet setup on a server 2003 sp2 server.

We have multiple document libraries all within the Document Center.  When attempting to view one of them in Explorer view (IE 8 or IE7), we get this error:

An error occurred during the compilation of the requested file, or one of its dependencies. 'If', 'ElseIf', 'Else', 'End If', or 'Const' expected.

The other doc libs don't do give this problem in explorer view.

There is nothing in the event viewer when this occurs.  I didn't have much luck during my research.. except the following:

It seems that there might be some coding issues.  I'm not a developer, but I can get around in SP designer.  Not so much in Visual Studio.  However, I can't find this code in any of the pages that this library uses.  (Explorer view.aspx, webfldr.aspx)

I may be completely barking up the wrong tree.

Can somebody guide me in the right direction to resolve this error?

Has anyone customized Sharepoint?  What recent changes have occurred?

The Explorer view somehow became corrupt.  I created a new one and it was fine.  Never found out what happened.
